Launch status: Accountable-owner, contact, effective-date and applicable-law details must be supplied in the centralized site configuration before a production package can be built. This policy is not legal advice.
1. Website identity
ImagesCompressor is operated by Youssef TAK from Morocco. Questions may be sent to contact@imagescompressor.com. Effective date: 2023-10-01.
2. Local image processing
When you select a supported image, its content is processed by JavaScript inside your browser. ImagesCompressor does not intentionally upload the selected image File or generated output Blob to its servers. Temporary previews and results use browser-memory object URLs. They are released when an item is removed, the queue is cleared or the page session ends.
Images are not stored in localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, analytics or a remote image service. Browser memory limits and failures remain possible, especially for large decoded files.
3. Browser storage
The current application does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Selected files, previews and generated results exist temporarily in browser memory while the page is open. This description must be reviewed if a future feature introduces persistent browser storage.
4. Hosting logs
The hosting provider may process ordinary technical access logs, such as IP address, request time, requested page, user agent, referrer and response status, for security, reliability and operations. Retention and location depend on the selected provider and must be documented accurately by the owner before launch.
5. External libraries
The current application loads browser-image-compression and JSZip from jsDelivr. The CDN receives normal request information when your browser requests those scripts. It does not need the images you select. Consult the provider’s current privacy information before launch.
6. Analytics
No analytics integration is included in this release. If analytics is enabled later, this policy must identify the provider, purpose, data categories, legal basis where applicable, retention and available controls. File names and image contents must not be sent to analytics.
7. Advertising
The homepage displays a third-party Adsterra advertisement. Adsterra or its advertising partners make external network requests and may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, referrer data and advertising identifiers under their own practices. Selected image content is processed separately by the browser tool and is not intentionally provided to the advertising script. Blocking the advertisement does not block the compression tool.
8. Cookies and consent
The first-party application does not set a language cookie or store a language preference. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies. The site owner must configure any consent experience required for the visitor and advertising configuration, including where applicable in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland. Refusing optional advertising cookies must not block the core tool.
9. Third-party providers
Cloudflare hosting, jsDelivr CDN delivery, Adsterra advertising partners and any configured consent provider may process technical data under their own terms and privacy documentation. They may act as independent controllers or processors depending on the service and agreement. Visitors should consult the relevant provider documentation. The compression engine does not require an external image-processing provider.
10. Visitor rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent or complain to a supervisory authority. Contact contact@imagescompressor.com to make a privacy request. Identity verification may be necessary where appropriate.
11. Retention
ImagesCompressor does not retain selected image content on its servers. Temporary in-browser image data normally lasts only for the current page session. Hosting and advertising data follow the retention rules of the relevant provider and configuration.
12. Security limitations
Reasonable technical measures can reduce risk but no website, browser or transmission method is completely secure. Keep original backups, use a maintained browser and avoid processing sensitive material on a device you do not trust.
13. Children
The service is a general-purpose utility and is not directed specifically to children. The owner should determine and document any age restrictions required by the intended market and applicable law.
14. Changes
This policy may change when site features, providers or legal requirements change. Material updates should be dated and presented clearly. The effective date above should be updated.
15. Contact
